Grown Here!

Hello, I'm Chrissy

...As a Marketing Administrator, I enjoy being able to use both my artistic and analytic abilities everyday on the job. This balance suites me very well, given my background and training.

I started my career holding more generalized secretarial and administrative roles. This allowed me to develop my ability to multitask and hone my software skills until I became an expert at such programs as Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Eventually, I landed an amazing job as the "Girl Friday" to a Roseville entrepreneur. My assignment: to assist with all aspects of opening his high-end, super deluxe car wash and detailing facility. Since he and I were the only two initial "staff members," and the facility was still under construction when I came aboard, I had my work cut out for me. I learned about sign permits, hiring and training employees, HR paperwork, inventory, business to business outreach, the local chamber of commerce, marketing a Grand Opening, and so on... Long days, but I loved it! I received a crash course on how to start a small business and have had the entrepreneurial spirit ever since.

After this, the pull of my Bay Area roots and big city living took me to San Francisco where I lived downtown for seven years. While in San Francisco, I took a series of night classes through UC Berkeley where I learned graphic design principles and programs. As a lifelong artist, it was great to learn a commercial application for my creativity and drawing abilities. The classes also taught me how to come up with a marketing plan, present it to a group, handle criticism and use it constructively.  During the day, I worked for Zemach Holdings, a family company that owns several businesses along Fisherman's Wharf. One of my favorite tasks in this role was marketing Laline, a bath and body boutique well known in Israel but relatively new to the USA. We managed three locations in San Francisco, and I was in charge of making these boutiques as beautiful as possible and spreading the word about their fabulous products. During the course of this job, I also transformed the eCommerce website from a disorganized order form, to a lovely little place in which Laline fans could replenish the bath products that they bought while on vacation in SF. The success of this website led to its eventual acquisition by Israel and LalineUSA.com became simply Laline.com.

After moving back to Sacramento to have my daughter, I am now working in Real Estate Marketing, where I collaborate with my team to come up with creative new ways to serve clients, showcase beautiful properties, and increase our sphere of influence within the Roseville community and beyond.  I love assisting our clients with such a huge passage in their lives, and find great fulfillment in either helping them find their dream home or seamlessly transitioning them out of a situation that no longer suites their needs.
